IT ALL STARTED...

Once upon a time in 2017, Jenna Morrison and Ethan Staines logged onto a little game called Roblox, never imagining they were about to meet their person. What started as an online friendship slowly turned into something much bigger—a love story that grew through years of conversations, laughter, distance, and plenty of time spent dreaming about the day they wouldn’t have to be so far apart. In 2022, that dream became real when Ethan packed up his life and moved to Canada to be with Jenna, where they began building a home, a family, and a future together. Today, Jenna is behind the camera with Ethan by her side, and together they get to travel throughout Canada, the United States, and the Dominican Republic, capturing weddings, proposals, couples, families, and celebrations. It’s funny to think that everything they have today started with two people meeting in a virtual world—but sometimes the sweetest love stories really do begin in the most unexpected places. Ours started on Roblox, and the rest is still being written.

Jenna Morrison Photos is a husband-and-wife photography team built around a love for capturing the moments people never want to forget. Led by Jenna as CEO and lead photographer, with Ethan by her side as her assistant and partner, we specialize in weddings, events, proposals, couples, and family photography, creating images that feel natural, emotional, and timeless. Based in Canada but always ready for the next adventure, we travel throughout Canada, the United States, and the Dominican Republic to document love and life wherever they take us. We believe the best photographs come from genuine connection, real emotion, and all those little in-between moments, and our goal is to make every experience feel comfortable, personal, and completely you.

We’re proud to be highly recommended throughout Durham Region and the Kawarthas, with much of our work coming from returning clients, referrals, and families inviting us back to document the next chapter of their lives.

For us, that means more than an award ever could. When someone trusts us with their wedding and later calls us for maternity photos, family portraits, an anniversary, or another milestone, we know we’ve created something beyond photographs — we’ve built a relationship.
